Pakistan Calligraph-Artists' Guild

The famous Calligraph-artist Gulgee was the Chief Guest at the seventh session of the series "An Evening With". Gulgee based in Karachi is a senior member of the PCG and renowned figure in the field of painting and calligraph-art. He spoke at length about his work spread over five creative decades. His stimulating talk was illustrated with slides of his early and recent work, which gave a comprehensive view of his concerns regarding the rightful place of Calligraph-art among contemporary, international art movements. A very large number of people from all walks of life including Ms. Nusrat Ali, Ms. Zarina Khurshid and Mr. Waseem Ahmad from Lahore Museum attended the delightful presentation.
